So, you have decided to hire wedding cars to get the wedding party to the church on time but here is where the decisions really start. With so many vehicles to choose from you may be struggling to decide on the best type of wedding transport for you.

Identify your requirements-The first thing to do before you book wedding cars is to create a checklist of requirements. This list could include aspects such as space, style and the overall effect you wish to have regarding your entrance. Are you looking to make a dramatic entrance or simply wish to get from A to B. Once you have established exactly what is it you need you will find choosing wedding cars an easy decision.

Themes-If you are one of the many people who have decided to base their wedding day around a particular theme you should choose your wedding cars accordingly. Whether you have decided on traditional, vintage, contemporary or enchanted themes there are appropriate wedding cars to choose from.

Space-One of the main factors to consider is space. Wedding cars allow for the whole bridal party as well as ensuring the bride has sufficient room. A common mistake is to allow space for the bridal party but forget to allow for the dress and the veil.

Type of Car-There is a car to suit all of your requirements whether you are looking for glamour, luxury or classic style. Choose from a wide range of stunning wedding cars such as a Bentley or a Mercedes.

When to Book Wedding Cars for the Big Day

When it comes to planning your wedding transport timing is essential. Here is a guide to organising your wedding and creating a countdown schedule for the period leading up to the big day.

Your individual schedule will depend on your time period but many people choose to start planning up to a year before. There are so many things to plan for the big day but the first things to consider include the actual date of your wedding and who you wish to attend.

Once you have done this you can sit down to arrange a realistic budget that allows for wedding cars, the bridal attire and the food. Other priorities include booking the entertainment, the caterers, photographer and wedding transport. It is important to make your reservations for wedding cars and entertainment early to avoid disappointment. Always ensure you receive a written confirmation of your bookings.

Six months before the wedding things should be coming together nicely. Several decisions should have already been made such as the best man and the bridesmaids and a dress should have been chosen. Six months in to the planning period and you should be arranging dress fittings and wedding attire for the bridal party. It is also time to choose appropriate invites and notifying guests of your chosen dates.

With three months to go it is time to post your invites, and make definite decisions regarding your wedding music. Add the finishing touches such as gifts for the bridesmaids and start to plan your hen and stag party.

Lastly finalise all of the plans and round up the last of the replies to your invitations. Write the relevant speeches and arrange the dates for your rehearsal.
